This is another instant sourdough dish that’s easy and yummy.
1 cup starter
2 t baking powder
3 t melted butter
1/2 t each salt, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and parsley
Fill your pie dish with meat and sauce. Pour the pie batter over the top of the meat. Bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes until the batter has set.
You can also make sweet pies using this recipe – instead of herbs add spices to the batter and instead of meat, fill the dish with stewed fruit or zobo flowers.
